After reviewing the permissions, choose the Confluence instance where you want to install Erica.
Once Erica has been successfully installed, you need to train a model for each space where you intend to use Erica's features. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to "Settings" in Confluence.
- Click on "Erica AI Model Trainer" in the left navigation menu.
The "Erica AI Model Trainer" page, will display a list of all the spaces in your Confluence instance. On large instances with many spaces that page might take some to load, but it will eventually show you all non-personal spaces on your instance.
To train a model for a specific space, click on the "Train" button next to the space you want to train Erica for.
A modal will appear with a list of all pages and comments in the selected space, which will be used as input data for training.
- Click the "Train" button in the modal to begin the training process.
- The duration of training may vary based on the size of the Confluence space and your hardware configuration, especially your GPU. It can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 minutes or more.
Once the model training is complete, you will see an "Upload" button become active in the modal. To enable Erica's features for the selected space, click the "Upload" button in the modal to upload the trained model.
Congratulations! Erica is now ready for use in the space you've trained it for.
You can repeat Steps 4 and 5 for other spaces where you want to use Erica's features. Enjoy the benefits of Erica in your Confluence spaces.
